Dr. Konstantinos Vazouras, DDS, DMD, MPhil, MDSc, FACP<\/strong> is a board-certified prosthodontist, dental educator, and academic leader with extensive experience in advanced prosthodontics, implant dentistry, dental biomaterials, and restorative care. A Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics<\/strong>, he combines advanced clinical expertise with postgraduate education and academic leadership to help train the next generation of specialists in complex restorative and implant dentistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr. Vazouras serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine<\/strong> and as Program Director of the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics<\/strong>. He joined the Tufts faculty as an Assistant Professor in 2017, became Interim Program Director of the postgraduate prosthodontics program in 2020, was appointed Program Director in 2021, and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n His education and specialty training span several leading institutions across Greece, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Dr. Vazouras earned his DDS from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens<\/strong> and his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine<\/strong>. He subsequently completed an MPhil in Biomaterials and Dental Technology with a focus on Prosthodontics at the University of Manchester<\/strong>, developing an advanced understanding of the materials and technologies used in contemporary restorative dentistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr. Vazouras continued his specialty education at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine<\/strong>, where he completed an Advanced Specialty Program and earned a Certificate of Specialty in Prosthodontics<\/strong>. He also earned a Master of Dental Science (MDSc)<\/strong> and completed a Certificate in Implant Surgery<\/strong>, further strengthening his expertise in complex prosthodontic rehabilitation and implant-based treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Following his postgraduate specialty training, Dr. Vazouras completed an ITI Scholarship in Implant Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine<\/strong>.
